Priscilla Block Draws Biggest Crowd of Country Now’s Summer Series

The energy was palpable from the moment Highway Home, one of the newest acts signed to Warner Records, stepped onto the stage above the pool at the L27 Rooftop Lounge for the 27Live Summer Series presented by Country Now. The trio, consisting of Conner Sweeney, Eamon Owen, and Stanton Langley, warmed up the crowd with smooth, rich harmonies that perfectly complemented their songs, which are filled with creative country flair.

After setting the tone for the evening, Highway Home handed the stage over to the night’s headliner, Priscilla Block.

A wave of excitement swept through the crowd as fans, some of whom drove up to nine hours to see Block, grew louder as The Block Party band took the stage.

Block delivered staples from her own catalog, including Just About Over You and This Is My Bar, while also giving fans a few unexpected moments. She and her band performed acoustic renditions of the Goo Goo Dolls’ classic Iris and Shania Twain’s You’re Still the One before rolling into her own response to critics, Couldn’t Care Less.

The acoustic portion of the night left a mark. The quieter moments between songs created space for fans to take over, with Couldn’t Care Less becoming a standout moment for audience participation as the crowd sang along.

The 60-minute set was infused with playful confidence and raw vulnerability, leaving fans wanting more.

Block made sure to create plenty of memorable moments throughout the night. She passed out roses to single ladies, signed and tossed merch into the crowd during Yard Sale, and, as she walked off stage, took the time to sign for as many fans as possible.
