Justin Moore Joins Danielle Bradbery, Adam Sanders, Dalton Dover & More for Intimate Nashville Night
Justin Moore was having fun.
The country hitmaker sat beneath the Nashville skyline, performing for a few hundred fans and industry professionals at 6th & Peabody as part of Nashville Underplay.
Moore, accompanied by Roger Coleman and Stephan Laplante, shared stories about some of his biggest hits and went off script to take requests, including covers of Keith Whitley and Toby Keith songs. Throughout the intimate performance, he shared his sense of humor, keeping the audience engaged and laughing all night.
Beyond the music and laughs, Moore opened up about something much more personal.
The country star, who recently took a break from touring for personal reasons, revealed that he had checked himself into a rehab program for alcoholism and was 65 days sober. He explained that he had spent some time considering what he wanted to say about his break before deciding that telling the truth about what he had been through was the best option.
Moore anchored the intimate night, but the lineup was packed with talent. Danielle Bradbery took the stage during the second writer’s round and played an additional song after host Markus Kroger asked her to keep going. Recent The Road winner Adam Sanders, Dalton Dover and more also took the stage, making the evening a showcase of country music’s established and rising voices.
